The Tippecanoe Valley Vikings came tearing into Friday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against North Miami by a score of 58-47. With that victory, Tippecanoe Valley brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Tippecanoe Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kelsey Cox out in front who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Ava Egolf was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Tippecanoe Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for North Miami, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tippecanoe Valley's road trip will continue as they head out to face Winamac at 7:45 p.m. on December 14th. As for North Miami, they will challenge Rochester at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
