There's no place like home for Canyon del Oro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Desert View Jaguars by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Dorados in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won five in a row.

Canyon del Oro had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 33-35, 25-18, 25-16, 25-23.

Their offense was headlined by Sean Mayberry and Mason Boothe, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Isaac Rivas Dauria and his 30 assists. Joey Pletnick controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Canyon del Oro's win bumped their record up to 13-16. As for Desert View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
