Cayuga has gone a perfect 10-0 against LaPoynor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Taylor Lovett made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
