Softball Preview: Liberty Christian Warriors vs. Nolan Catholic Vikings
Liberty Christian hasn't had much luck against Nolan Catholic recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:00 p.m. Liberty Christian will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Liberty Christian will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Fort Worth Country Day, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. Liberty Christian never let Fort Worth Country Day get on the board and left with a 6-0 win two weeks ago.

Not much got past Sydney Griffin, who gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Fort Worth Country Day off the board. Those 11 strikeouts gave Griffin a new career-high.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Makenzie Byler, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run was her first of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nolan Catholic). They came out on top against THESA by a score of 14-10 last Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Vikings needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Maddie Kapavik was incredible, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Brenna Frasier, who went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.
Liberty Christian's record is now 6-3-1. As for Nolan Catholic, their record is now 4-8-1.
