Volleyball Recap: Eleva-Strum's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Eleva-Strum unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Blair-Taylor Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Eleva-Strum sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 17-25, 25-19, 25-27, 15-13.

Eleva-Strum's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-3. As for Blair-Taylor, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Eleva-Strum and Blair-Taylor will both be playing Osseo-Fairchild the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Thunder at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
