Volleyball Recap: Central Lee Takes a Loss

After flying high against Keokuk last Thursday, Central Lee came back down to earth. The Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mediapolis Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Central Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Mediapolis, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

The future could be bright for both Central Lee and Mediapolis: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Hawks will try to hand New London their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mediapolis will look to extend Danville's three-game losing streak when they meet at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
