Tomball had won 13 straight games and Gemma Hopkins did her part to make it 14 on Thursday. The Cougars came out on top against the Reagan Rattlers by a score of 2-0 thanks in part to Hopkins, who had 15 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Tomball's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Reagan, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Tomball will be taking part in a tournament against Harlan at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. As for Reagan, they will head out to face off against Cedar Park at 1:45 p.m. on Friday.
