Basketball Recap: Enderlin Comes Up Short

Enderlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Enderlin lost, don't look at Aspyn Schlecht. Despite the final result, she posted 19 points. That was a full 39.6% of Enderlin's points, marking the third time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Penelope Spain was another key player, putting up five points.

Enderlin's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah], their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.
