Baseball Recap: Timpview Has No Trouble Against Granger

Timpview got themselves on the board against Granger on Wednesday, but Granger never followed suit. They came out on top against the Granger Lancers by a score of 4-0. The contest marked the Thunderbirds' most dominant win of the season so far.

Granger's batters probably weren't too happy with True Andersen, who pitched a no hitter and racked up nine Ks (he gave up zero walks). Andersen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jordan Christensen, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases. Ty Wester also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Timpview now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Granger, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timpview will venture away from home to take on Hunter at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granger, they will head out on the road to face off against Skyline at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
