Williamson dropped their record down to 14-6 on Saturday, which also ended the team's four-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Sodus Spartans by a score of 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Marauders have suffered against the Spartans since May 14, 2022.

Williamson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mikey Ishler, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

As for Sodus, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games.

On Sodus' side, the team relied heavily on Cooper Ingersoll, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jordan Orrange-Paton, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
