Baseball Game Preview: Eminence Warriors vs. Carroll County Panthers

For the second straight game, Eminence will face off against Carroll County. The Warriors will head out to take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Eminence's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-0 win over Carroll County. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Not much got past Tanner Simpson, who gave up just six hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep Carroll County off the board. Simpson also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Eminence is 4-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 5-7 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Eminence saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Craft Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Carroll County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Eminence, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
