Basketball Recap: Highland Snags Seventh Victory in Last Nine Games

After losing to Wesclin the last time they met, Highland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Highland Bulldogs took down the Wesclin Warriors 65-48 on Tuesday.

Highland is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Wesclin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-9.

When Highland and Wesclin next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Highland will try to stop Triad's 12-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Wesclin will challenge Carlyle and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
