Football Recap: Camden Piles Up the Points Against York

After only seven points in their last matchup, Camden made sure to put some points up on the board against York on Friday. The Bulldogs breezed past the Cougars to the tune of 57-17. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bulldogs' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Cougars are ranked 92nd).

Camden's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah Smith, who rushed for 90 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 84 receiving yards and one score. Those 84 receiving yards gave Smith a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Greyson Rimpf, who threw for 267 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt.

Camden's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for York, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
