Baseball Recap: Harvey Beats Wooster for Their Third Straight Win

Harvey waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Wooster Generals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last three times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Harvey let Ben Shaw and Dominick Bonserio run wild. Shaw went 1-for-3 with six RBI, one triple, and one run, while Bonserio went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. Bonserio has become a key player for Harvey: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 4-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jordan Sheppe, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

Harvey's victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Wooster, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-3 record.
