Fairfield Central is a perfect 4-0 against Westwood since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Fairfield Central Griffins will host the Westwood Redhawks at 6:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Fairfield Central after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Chester by a score of 4-3.

Fairfield Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamari Favors, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Favors' first of the season.

Meanwhile, while Westwood put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Ridge View. Westwood walked away with a 4-0 victory over Ridge View. The Redhawks haven't had any issues with the Blazers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Fairfield Central has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. The victory got Westwood back to even at 2-2.

Fairfield Central was able to grind out a solid win over Westwood in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 6-1. Does Fairfield Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westwood turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
