Baseball Recap: Norwich Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Norwich unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-8 to the Chenango Forks Blue Devils on Tuesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 14 in a row.

Norwich saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor White, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwich will challenge Waverly at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chenango Forks, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Susquehanna Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
