Baseball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Jackson's Fourth in Last Five Outings

North Creek typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Jackson proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 4-1. That's two games straight that the Timberwolves have won by exactly three runs.

Quinten Johns tossed a big game, pitching 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Austin Halvorson was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Jackson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for North Creek, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8.

As of now, neither Jackson nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
