If Manchester Academy was riding high fresh off their 16-0 takedown of Deer Creek last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Manchester Academy came up short against the Jackson Academy Raiders on Friday, falling 15-7. The Mavericks' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Wrigley Richardson and Joseph Beidleman stepped up to the plate in a big way. Richardson scored a run while going 2-for-3, while Beidleman went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that Beidleman launched this season.

Manchester Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Jackson Academy, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.
