Clyde Kates Game Report: @ Santa Fe Christian

Bishop had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Clyde Kates sure wasn't going down easily. Kates pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs he has had since back in April.

Even though Kates couldn't lead Bishop's over Santa Fe Christian, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Knights have some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since April of 2022, but a win here would be a good start.
