Volleyball Game Preview: Chambersburg Trojans vs. Waynesboro Indians

The Chambersburg Trojans will head out to square off against the Waynesboro Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Thursday, Chambersburg came up short against State College and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-14, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Waynesboro got the win against Shippensburg on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Waynesboro took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-13, 25-12.

Waynesboro's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Chambersburg, they dropped their record down to 9-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Chambersburg took their victory against Waynesboro when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
