Basketball Recap: Hill City Takes a Loss

Hill City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 73-47 to the Deer River Warriors. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 82-57 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hill City's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Deer River, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Hill City will be playing at home against Mountain Iron-Buhl at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Deer River will take on Cass Lake-Bena in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
