Softball Recap: East Hickman County Comes Up Short

East Hickman County managed to slip by Cheatham County Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles came up short against the Cubs on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cubs earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

East Hickman County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-11. As for Cheatham County Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

East Hickman County will welcome Perry County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cheatham County Central, they will take on Sycamore at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cubs are facing the War Eagles at the right time seeing as the War Eagles are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
