Baseball Recap: Cayuga Takes a Loss

Cayuga lost against Kerens last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Bobcats, falling 9-3. The Wildcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Cayuga saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cash Conner, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Cayuga's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Kerens, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cayuga is set to square off against their familiar foe Wortham at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kerens will take on rival Avalon at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
