Volleyball Recap: Mclaurin Extends Winning Streak to Four

McLaurin had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the St. Aloysius Flashes.

McLaurin wouldn't go down easily and took St. Aloysius into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-22, 25-13, 21-25, 15-7.

McLaurin's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for St. Aloysius, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, McLaurin will head out to challenge South Delta at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. After both having extra time off, St. Aloysius and Jackson HomeSchool will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
