With a playoff win on the line, Axtell rose to the challenge on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Pike Valley Panthers with a sharp 64-38 win. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Despite the loss, Pike Valley still got an impressive performance from Breanna Reeves, who almost dropped a double-double with 17 points and nine boards. The contest was Reeves' fourth in a row with at least 17 points.

Axtell now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Pike Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

As of now, neither Axtell nor Pike Valley have any future games scheduled.
