Nemaha Central had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Sabetha Bluejays. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Thursday.

Nemaha Central was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-27, 25-13, 25-11.

Ali Henry paced Nemaha Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Henry got some help from Brooklyn Uphaus and her ten assists. Finally, Kinsey Monier kept Nemaha Central's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Nemaha Central's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Sabetha, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Nemaha Central has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Holton on the 9th. After both having extra time off, Sabetha and Perry-Lecompton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
