While Mt. Blue's victory against Lewiston wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Blue Devils on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Gage Decarolis and Nolan Leso did most of the damage at the plate: Decarolis went 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Leso went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Those two runs gave Decarolis a new career-high.

Mt. Blue's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Lewiston, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
