Edgerton was the 42-29 winner over Holgate when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Edgerton Bulldogs took a 38-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holgate Tigers. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Edgerton's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Holgate, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 4-15 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgerton will square off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fairview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Holgate, they will challenge Gorham Fayette at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gorham Fayette will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Holgate surely won't give up without a fight.
