Basketball Recap: Oakdale Takes a Loss

Oakdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Harriman Blue Devils, falling 68-38. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 436th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 200th).

Oakdale's loss dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Harriman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Coming up, Oakdale will challenge Rockwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harriman, they are taking a road trip to face off against Midway at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Midway's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.
