Softball Recap: Pemberton's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Florence Township Memorial, Pemberton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the LEAP Academy Lancers. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Pemberton's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for LEAP Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pemberton will challenge Pennsauken Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Pennsauken Tech has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.56 runs per game on average), something Pemberton will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for LEAP Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Camden at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
