Soccer Recap: Pennington Comes Up Short

Pennington managed to keep up with Brewer until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Patriots. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Pennington's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Pennington's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Brewer, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Pennington is taking a road trip to face off against Coosa Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brewer, they will square off against West Limestone at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
