Statesville Christian found their leader in sophomore Abbey Wright, who had 24 digs and three aces. Wright has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.
Statesville Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in three consecutive contests.
Lawrence Academy's win bumped their record up to 24-2. As for Statesville Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
