Basketball Game Preview: Bellingham Blackhawks vs. Dover-Sherborn Raiders

Bellingham is 1-9 against Dover-Sherborn since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Bellingham Blackhawks will head out on the road to face off against the Dover-Sherborn Raiders at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Bellingham is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 53-48 heartbreaker at the hands of Medfield.

Meanwhile, Dover-Sherborn didn't have quite enough to beat Norton on Friday and fell 50-48. The game marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Dover-Sherborn's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bellingham, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Bellingham lost to Dover-Sherborn on the road by a decisive 57-41 margin when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Bellingham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
