Lauren Guyer leads a balanced attack to beat North Florida Christian

Recap: Maclay Marauders vs. North Florida Christian Eagles
Even though the Maclay Marauders have not done well against the North Florida Christian Eagles recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Maclay walked away with a 41-28 win over North Florida Christian. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Maclay.
Maclay got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lauren Guyer out in front who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aleeza Moore, who scored ten points.
Maclay's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for North Florida Christian, they bumped their record down to 4-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maclay won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chiles at 5:00 p.m. on January 13th. Hopefully Chiles focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Friday. As for North Florida Christian, North Florida Christian and Taylor County will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
