Basketball Recap: Paradise Piles Up the Points Against Valley View

A well-balanced attack led Paradise over Valley View in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Paradise Panthers blew the Valley View Eagles out of the water with a 71-30 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 23 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Valley View saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aaron Epperson posted three points and eight boards.

Paradise pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.4 points. As for Valley View, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, Paradise and Valley View will both be playing Callisburg the next time they take the court. Valley View will host Callisburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Paradise will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
