After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Apopka, Boone was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Lake Nona Lions by a score of 9-5. The victory continues a trend for the Braves in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Boone let Ava Solberg and Emma Wolfgramm run wild. Solberg scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Wolfgramm scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Wolfgramm has posted since back in April of 2024. Emelia Martin also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Boone's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Lake Nona, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Boone will welcome Cornerstone Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Nona will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jones at 6:30 p.m. on March 27th.
