Maritime Academy Charter scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They had to suffer through a 90-61 loss at the hands of the Paul Robeson Huskies. While losing is never fun, the Seadogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 603rd, while the Huskies are ranked 220th).

Several Seadogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jadin Aviles, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermaine Boone-Williams, who earned ten points.

Maritime Academy Charter has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points per game. As for Paul Robeson, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Maritime Academy Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-54 victory against Vaux Big Picture on the 14th. Paul Robeson has also already played their next game, a 47-46 loss against Benjamin Franklin on the 14th.
