After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dominguez, Centennial was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Inglewood Sentinels 8-7. The victory was some much needed relief for the Apaches as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Centennial's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 8-14. As for Inglewood, they dropped their record down to 5-15 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Centennial will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Sentinels: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
