Baseball Game Preview: Brandon Eagles vs. Jesuit Tigers

The Brandon Eagles will challenge the Jesuit Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brandon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over Middleton.

Charles Revi Rodriguez was excellent, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Jesuit faced off against Jackson County on Thursday. The Tigers never let the Panthers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Kaden Waechter looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Robby Santana, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Jace Pask also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Brandon's record now sits at 8-17. As for Jesuit, their record is now 17-8.

Brandon suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Jesuit in their previous meeting back in May of 2021. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
