Soccer Recap: Tuscaloosa County Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Tuscaloosa County was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Thompson Warriors. While losing is never fun, Tuscaloosa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 79th, while Thompson are ranked 16th).

Tuscaloosa County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-5. As for Thompson, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5-1 record this season.

Tuscaloosa County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Thompson, they will take on Auburn at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
