Volleyball Recap: North Kansas City Hornets vs. Liberty Blue Jays
North Kansas City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Blue Jays. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on October 3rd.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8, 25-12.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Liberty to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brinn Wright, who had five aces and 17 assists. That's the most aces Wright has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Huyser, who had ten digs and three aces.
North Kansas City's loss dropped their record down to 10-17-1. As for Liberty, their record now sits at 25-6.
