Volleyball Recap: Holbrook Takes a Loss

Holbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the St. Johns Redskins. The Roadrunners were not able to make up for their defeat to the Redskins from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Leading St. Johns to victory were Abby Wagoner and Susie Andrus. Wagoner had four digs and four aces, while Andrus had 14 assists and four aces. That's the most aces Wagoner has posted since September 2nd. Sarah Cox also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Holbrook's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for St. Johns, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.

Holbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Snowflake on the 1st. As for St. Johns, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Northland Prep Academy on the 2nd.
