Basketball Recap: Mid-Carolina Has No Trouble Against Eau Claire

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Chester, Mid-Carolina was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-36 win over the Eau Claire Shamrocks. That looming 38-36 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Rebels yet this season.

Mid-Carolina's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kaden Myers, who posted 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ryan Crooks, who had eight points and seven boards.

Mid-Carolina moved to 3-11 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Eau Claire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-2.

Mid-Carolina will be playing in front of their home fans against Fairfield Central at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eau Claire, they will challenge Clinton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
