Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lake Dallas walked away with it. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Celina Bobcats 5-3. That's the first time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-3 victory on Friday.

Zoey Christensen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits.

Lake Dallas' win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Celina, they moved to 7-17 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lake Dallas beat the Bobcats by a score of 5-3 later that day.
