Volleyball Recap: Bellbrook Beats Archbishop Alter for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Bellbrook came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Archbishop Alter Knights as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Golden Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Bellbrook was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-18.

Leading Bellbrook to victory were Kayla Wallace and Lucia Mescher. Wallace had nine digs and two aces, while Mescher had ten digs and five assists. Those two aces gave Wallace a new career-high. Payton Burns also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Bellbrook's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Archbishop Alter, they dropped their record down to 2-16 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Bellbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Edgewood on the 30th. As for Archbishop Alter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Badin on the 30th.
