Volleyball Recap: Willow Canyon Wildcats vs. Centennial Coyotes

After flying high against Lake Havasu on Monday, Willow Canyon came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centennial Coyotes on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-17, 18-25, 25-15.

Aspen Edwards paced Willow Canyon's offense, picking up ten kills. Edwards got some help from Keely Blady and her 13 assists. Emory Scogin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Willow Canyon's defeat ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-14. As for Centennial, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-12 record this season.
