It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Woodhaven had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Monroe Trojans a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won 14 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Woodhaven's fourth in a row) raised their record to 32-8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-24-1.

As of now, neither Woodhaven nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
