It was a good run, but Falls City unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the MacArthur Brahmas.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead MacArthur to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elizabeth Martin, who had eight assists and six digs. That's the most digs Martin has posted over her last nine matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Morrison, who had seven digs and five kills.

Falls City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for MacArthur, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Falls City has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Floresville on the 22nd. As for MacArthur, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against East Central on the 22nd.
