Basketball Recap: Lake Shore Eagles vs. Fredonia Hillbillies
Lake Shore lost against Fredonia back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lake Shore Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to the Fredonia Hillbillies. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hillbillies 16-12 in the first quarter.
Fredonia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Colin Luce out in front who went 6 for 10 en route to 14 points along with six boards and three steals. Luce is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Rj Koopman, who posted ten points and five assists.
