Krum put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Whitesboro Bearcats a 5-0 shutout. That's two games straight that the Bobcats have won by exactly five runs.

Taylor Fauver and Paige Bianchi did most of the damage at the plate: Fauver scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Bianchi scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Krum was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Whitesboro only posted a batting average of .222.

Krum's victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.9 runs over those games. As for Whitesboro, their loss ended a 16-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Krum will take on Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Krum's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so Memorial's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Whitesboro, they will challenge Boyd at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Boyd's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
